I am are certified in the Klose method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage®, originated by Dr. Emil Vodder in the 1930s. It uses gentle, rhythmic pressure to speed up your body's lymphatic system, which is how your body manages swelling and immunity. When our lymphatic system is congested, we feel heavy, lethargic, and sick. Lymphatic massage is a very relaxing way to support our overall health, and speed up healing after injury or surgery.

You should have a healthy heart and kidneys to receive lymphatic massage. Our practice doesn't work with advanced lymphedema nor do we offer compression garment fitting or wound care. We also do not perform breast massage or post breast augmentation MLD massage, but we do have specialists in these areas we can refer you to.
Your massage starts at your collarbones, where all your lymph collects. Depending on your wellness goals and the length of the appointment, it may be a full body massage or focused on your trouble spots. No oil or lotion is used. Lymphatic massage often includes the armpits and abdomen, where we have lots of lymph nodes. The pressure is gentle and relaxing. You just might be so relaxed you fall asleep!
